I spent about four days in New York City this past week purely for the fun of it. It was great to see old friends and catch up. I wandered around the city during the day and even took a helicopter flight around Manhattan. On my third day, I found myself in the middle of a breaking news event when a scaffold wire broke leaving two window washers dangling from the 69th floor of One World Trade Center. It was weird being the photographer on the ground rather than the editor waiting in a newsroom. Thankfully both window washers were pulled from the scaffold safely.
Here are some of my favorite images from the week. Thanks for looking.
